Veteran India spinner Harbhajan Singh is hosting a TV show in Punjabi. The show is named "Punjabiya Dadagiri with Bhajji" and happens to be a quiz show in Punjabi. While his former captain Sourav Ganguly has been hosting the Bengali show "Dadagiri" for several seasons now, Harbhajan's show is a quiz show following a similar format. However, cricket lovers are looking forward to September 11, 2021 which is going to be a cricket special show and will see Yuvraj Singh as a guest along with several other cricketers from Punjab.
In a promo that is now going viral on the Internet, Yuvi can be seen narrating a hilarious incident from his playing days. The former India all-rounder recalls an "English day rule" in the Punjab team. He said that every Sunday, the players of the Punjab team, who were trying to grasp English, were instructed to speak only English and utter no word or sentence in Punjabi. Failing to comply with the rule would result in a 10 or 20 INR fine.
This was done so players can practice the language. However, it led to several comic instances and Yuvi mimicked how his teammates reacted when one of them dropped a catch but they could only converse in English.

Harbhajan has meanwhile also acted in a movie named "Friendship," and it is set to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The Turbanator though hasn't hung up his cricketing boots yet and will be seen in action once IPL 2021 resumes in UAE. Bhaji was roped in by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the auctions and even featured in 3 matches for the team but was unfortunate not to get a wicket despite creating several chances. He was even a victim of a catch being dropped off his bowling.
With the tournament now moving to UAE where spinners could come in handy, he could well bring his experience into play and spin a web around the opposition batters. KKR though have plenty of spinning options- the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav and it would be interesting to see what role Harbhajan plays in this setup.
