Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered another humiliating defeat after the side failed to chase down 144 in the game against Rajasthan Royals. The side registered another shocking collapse as the team got bundled out for just 115 runs.

Virat Kohli, who is going through a lean phase in his career, once again failed to make big contributions as the former RCB skipper got dismissed after scoring 9 runs. However, the franchise's batting coach Sanjay Bangar backed Kohli and said that the team is not dependent on just Virat to score runs.

Bangar further added that skipper Faf du Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, and Shahbaz are among the runs and the team is behind Kohli.

Virat will open the innings in upcoming games: Bangar

Sanjay further confirmed that Virat Kohli will open the innings with Faf du Plessis in upcoming games. Bangar added that they tried a new combination with Anuj Rawat but it just didn't click. "We are looking forward to giving our best batters as many balls as possible and hence the management has decided to bring Kohli to open the innings along with the skipper.
