The last league game of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi produced something unbelievable and sent fans into nostalgia. A batter hitting a six on the last delivery of the innings to decide the fate of a match, Pak fans could not keep calm as Shaheen Afridi produced a knock of the ages.

With 23 runs required off the last six balls and only two wickets in hand, it required something miraculous and Shaheen Afridi was capable enough to do it. The Lahore Qalandars captain hit three sixes and a boundary to level the score and send the game into a super over. On the first ball of the 20th over, Afridi managed a top edge to the boundary. On the next delivery, which was a slower one from Mohammad Umran, Afridi somehow managed to muscle the ball over the roped.

The best shot of the over came on the third delivery when Afridi hit a length ball for a maximum in the long-off region. Umran managed to sneak in two dot balls in between leaving the equation to 7 off 1. With Afridi hitting everything, a win was impossible until the bowler did something foolish. But a loss was not inevitable, and Afridi ensured it. Umran bowled a length delivery and Afridi went after with all his power and managed to send it into the night sky. The Shaheen Afridi celebration followed.

Watch Afridi's madness here:

Afridi was standing with both hands spread wide in the air. This sight reminded the fans of another Afridi who has done it many a time for his national side. Twitter was flooded with nostalgic reactions with one of the users writing "We have witnessed Shahid Afridi in form of Shaheen Afridi".
