Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is one of the best leaders the game of cricket has witnessed. The World Cup-winning captain earned several achievements throughout his career. Through his ability with the bat, behind the stumps and his decisions as a captain, MS Dhoni has made a reputation for himself like few others. Moreover, the way he carries himself on and off the field and interacts with fans also makes him a likable character.

While MS Dhoni retired from the longest format of the game way back in 2014, cricket fans have not yet moved on from the memories of the former skipper and still miss his presence in the middle. During the ongoing fifth Test between England and India at Edgbaston, a female cricket fan was pictured carrying a placard with a special message for the Chennai Super Kings skipper. 'WE MISS MSD,' was the message written on the placard.

Have a look at the placard here:

Speaking of the match, Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have stitched a crucial partnership after India's top-order crumbled down in front of England's disciplined bowling. Meanwhile, Pant has smashed the fastest century by an Indian wicket-keeper by taking just 89-balls to reach three figures. On the other hand, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also provided much-needed support from the other end and scored a half-century. Notably, the duo rescued visitors from the early collapse as India were reduced to 98/5.

Shubhman Gill (17 off 24) and Chesteshwar Pujara (13 off 46) could not provide the desired start to the visitors as both were dismissed by veteran pacer James Anderson. Hanuma Vihari (20 off 53), Virat Kohli (11 off 19) and Shreyas Iyer (15 off 11) were the middle-order batters who also failed to make an impression in the fifth and final Test.

However, the partnership between Pant and Jadeja has kept the game in fine balance.
