Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant announced his return to the cricketing world by scoring his first half-century against the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2024. In the first two matches of the season, Pant struggled to time his shots and looked rusty as he was returning from a 14-month injury layoff.
But against the Chennai Super Kings, Pant took some time but then took apart the likes of Matheesha Pathirana and Matheesha Pathirana to reach his half-century. In this valiant knock, the 26-year-old smashed four fours and three sixes as he helped the Capitals post a competitive total of 191 runs.
Celebrating this performance, fans and cricketing experts flooded social media with praiseful messages for Rishabh Pant. Several deemed this performance as 'Vintage Pant' while others applauded the youngster for grit and determination.
