As the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is under two months away from kick-starting in India, the various cricket stadiums have started their preparation to host matches in the prestigious tournament. M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru has also gone under renovation to give the best possible facilities to the world’s best cricketers during October and November of this year.   Raghuram Bhatt, the President of KSCA said, “After the ICC team's inspection a few days back, we have started the required renovation works such as refurbishing the stands, placing some new seats and renewing the toilets in the stadium.”

 

No one is guaranteed a spot: Rohit Sharma on India squad for ODI World Cup 2023
India skipper Rohit Sharma said that no one is guaranteed a permanent spot in the Indian squad. Sharma addressed the media at the La Liga event in Mumbai on August 10, Thursday.  T he India captain talked about the Indian team for the marquee event and said that no player has booked any secure berth in the squad, which includes him as well. 

Rohit said, “No one is an automatic selection, even I’m not. We have this thing where nobody is guaranteed a permanent spot.”
