Cricket Australia mandates use of neck guards for batsmen

Due to the high risk of getting severely injured, Cricket Australia has made the use of neck protectors mandatory for batters. Wearing a neck guard below the helmet is a must for the batsmen while facing fast or medium pacers. The rule will come into action from October 1 following the ECB's lead.

ILT20 announces development tournament ahead of second season

After a successful inaugural season, ILT20 will return to action in January next year. Ahead of the ILT20 second edition, the league has announced a development tournament from September 30 to October 10 in Dubai for UAE's domestic players and internationals to showcase their talent and be picked by the franchises.
