After a dominating series win at home, the Men in Blue will aim to take down the Protea challenge in South Africa. Team India is all set to travel to the rainbow nation for a multi-format series, starting December 10. On Monday, December 4, Cricket South Africa announced its squads for the upcoming India series. While Aiden Markram will lead the side in T20Is and ODIs, Temba Bavuma, who has been rested along with Kagiso Rabada will return for the two-match Test series. Other than this, the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2023 will begin its playoffs, starting today at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

While the Gladiators are placed third in the points table with three wins and two losses from five games, the Northern Warriors find themselves in the bottom half of the table, at sixth place with two wins from five games.
- Team Abu Dhabi vs New York Strikers: In Match 22 of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Dwaine Pretorius' Team Abu Dhabi will go head-to-head against Kieron Pollard-led New York Strikers at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium at 8:30 PM IST. While the Strikers comfortably sit at the top of the points table with three wins from four games, Team Abu Dhabi are reeling at the bottom of the points table, yet to open their win account in the tournament.
LLC 2023 - Manipal Tiger vs Urbanrisers Hyderabad: Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad will lock horns with Harbhajan Singh's Manipal Tigers at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on Tuesday, December 5 at 06:30 PM IST in Qualifier 1 of the LLC 2023. While the winner today will find a place in the final, the loser will get another chance as they take on the winner of Gujarat Giants versus India Capitals in the Qualifier 2.

The match between Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad and Harbhajan Singh's Manipal Tigers was abandoned without toss due to persistent rain. While both teams despite having already sealed the playoffs berth were set to play for the top of the table finish.

South Africa announce squads for multi-format series against India
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday, 4 December named their squads for the multi-format series against India, starting December 10. The rainbow nation will host the Men in Blue in a multi-format series, including three-match T20I and ODI series and two Tests. While the side will be led by Aiden Markram in T20Is and ODIs, regular captain Temba Bavuma will take the charge for the two-match Test series.

The Insolvency Tribunal NCLT has issued notice to Think & Learn Pvt Ltd, the company providing online educational services under the brand Byju’s, after a petition filed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The BCCI has filed a petition arguing dues of INR 158 crore as an operational creditor under section 9 of the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code 2016.
ECB asks Jofra Archer to pull out of IPL 2024 to manage his workload
ECB had asked the English pacer to pull out of IPL 2024 in order to manage his workload seeing the T20 World Cup, set to take place next year in June.
