After the completion of Women's Big Bash League 2023, the Big Bash League 2023-24 kickstarted on Thursday, December 7 while the Abu Dhabi T10 League has reached its playoffs stage. - Deccan Gladiators vs Bangla Tigers: Nicholas Pooran-led Deccan Gladiators will face Benny Howell's Bangla Tigers at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi in the Eliminator of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The match between the third-placed, Deccan Gladiators and the fourth-placed Bangla Tigers will take place on Friday at 07:30 p.m. IST with the winner here taking on the loser of Morrisville Samp Army versus New York Strikers at 10:00 p.m. IST.

The Usman Khawaja-led Brisbane Heat made a strong start to the Big Bash League 2023-24 with a dominating 103 runs win over Melbourne Stars at The Gabba in Brisbane. After being invited to bat first by the Glenn Maxwell-led side, the Heat posted 214 on the board at the loss of three wickets on the back of Colin Munro's unbeaten knock of 99. However, the bowling department led by Mitchell Swepson's three-wicket haul did the rest, reducing the Stars at the score of 111 in 15.1 overs.
LLC 2023: Manipal Tigers seal final berth with win over India Capitals; to take on Urbanrisers Hyderabad
Harbhajan Singh-led Manipal Tigers defeated Gautam Gambhir's India Capitals by six wickets to seal a berth in the final of LLC 2023. Inviting the Capitals to bat first after winning the toss, the Tigers chased the total of 178 in 18.4 overs with ease at the loss of four wickets at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. The Manipal Tigers will now take on Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the final of LLC 2023 on Saturday, 9 December.
Virat Kohli no longer first choice for T20 World Cup 2024: Reports
After failing to win the 2023 ODI World Cup, the India star trio of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah have requested a break from the white-ball series against South Africa. Reportedly, Rohit and Bumrah are automatic choices in the playing XI, while Kohli's spot in the T20 World Cup squad is in jeopardy with Ishan Kishan preferred to take the No.3 spot.

The England Cricket Board (ECB) has named a15-player squad for the ICC Men's U19 Cricket World Cup, to be held in South Africa. The 15th edition of the U19 men's tournament will be held across four venues in South Africa. Ben McKinney from Durham has been appointed as the captain while Rehan Ahmed's 15-year-old brother Farhan has been named in the side.
