After being invited to bat first by the Glenn Maxwell-led side, the Heat posted 214 on the board at the loss of three wickets on the back of Colin Munro's unbeaten knock of 99. However, the bowling department led by Mitchell Swepson's three-wicket haul did the rest, reducing the Stars at the score of 111 in 15.1 overs.
LLC 2023: Manipal Tigers seal final berth with win over India Capitals; to take on Urbanrisers Hyderabad
Harbhajan Singh-led Manipal Tigers defeated Gautam Gambhir's India Capitals by six wickets to seal a berth in the final of LLC 2023. Inviting the Capitals to bat first after winning the toss, the Tigers chased the total of 178 in 18.4 overs with ease at the loss of four wickets at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. The Manipal Tigers will now take on Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the final of LLC 2023 on Saturday, 9 December.
