India and England are scheduled to lock horns in the highly-anticipated five-match Test series with star Indian batter Virat Kohli set to miss the first two Test matches due to personal reasons. Apart from that, West Indies and Australia will begin the 2nd match of their two-match Test series in the WTC 2023-25.

India vs England: 1st Test
Team India are scheduled to host England for the 5-match Test series starting on Thursday, January 25, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. In the absence of Virat Kohli, India will be playing with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill at the top alongside skipper Rohit Sharma in the first Test. England have won the toss and opted to bat first. Rajat Patidar has been named Virat Kohli's replacement for the first two Tests, however, he was not included in the playing xi for the first Test.
Australia vs West Indies: 2nd Test
After losing their first Test match by 10 wickets against the reigning WTC champions, West Indies will look to draw curtains on the two-match Test series with a win in the second match to tie the series. The match is underway in Brisbane with the Windies skipper, Kraigg Brathwaite winning the toss and choosing to bat first against Pat Cummins' Australia.

Eathan Bosch's Pretoria Capitals are scheduled to square off against Aiden Markram-led SunRisers Eastern Cape at the SuperSport Park in Centurion on January 25 at 09:00 p.m. IST.
