India jumped to the top of Group A with a thrilling win over arch-rivals Pakistan by six runs in the T20 World Cup 2024. After poor batting effort, the bowlers once again bailed the Men in Blue and seal victory from the jaws of defeat. With this victory, India have now defeated Pakistan for the seventh time in Men's T20 World Cup games. The Men in Blue posted 119 in the first innings thanks to Rishabh Pant's 43. Then defending this total Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya combined to pick five wickets seal the game of India.

T20 World Cup 2024: Scotland demolish Oman by chasing 150 in 13.1 overs

Scotland strongly improved their chances of qualifying for the Super 8s by registering a dominant seven-wicket win over Oman. After asking to bowl first, the Scots restricted Oman at 149 with  Safyaan Sharif's 2-40 in four overs. Then chasing this total,  George Munsey and  Brandon McMullen smashed a quick-fire 41 and 61 respectively to chase down the total in  13.1 overs and nearly eliminate England's chances of reaching the next stage.

ICC to host Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9: Reports

The ICC has reportedly identified a 20-day window to host the return of Champions Trophy next year, from February 19 to March 9 in Pakistan. Notably, the eight-team ODI tournament, called the Champions Trophy, was last played in 2017, when Pakistan defeated India in the final at The Oval in London, to win the coveted title.  As per the report from Cricbuzz, the exact match days for the Champions Trophy 2025 edition are yet to be finalised, but it will go down during a 20-day window early next year.

Banners demanding former Pakistan PM Imran Khan's release were spotted over New York during the mega clash between India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. Neighbouring nations and arch-nemesis India and Pakistan clashed in the 19th clash of the T20 tournament on Sunday, June 9, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.  Just when Indian openers and star batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli came into bat, a banner was spotted flying above the stadium. The banner attached to a plane had ‘Release Imran Khan’ written over it.

Adam Zampa reveals his mantra of success after Australia's 36-run win against England

After playing a key role in defeating England by 36 runs in the Group B clash of the T20 World Cup 2024, Adam Zampa, the Australian leg spinner, revealed his mantra of success during a press conference.  During the press conference, Adam Zampa reflected on his decision to skip the IPL, to prepare for the T20 World Cup and said, as per the Times of India, “I made that decision a little while ago to pull out of the IPL and I thought it was the best thing for me moving forward into this World Cup. I was tired, I had some niggles and I'm a family man as well, so trying to put them first over work sometimes is pretty important.”
