The Rohit Sharma-led Team India will move to Dharamsala for the final Test of the five-match series against England. While the hosts have already clinched the series 3-1 with a match to spare, the two teams are sweating hard ahead of the fifth Test. Moreover, the Kiwis are hosting Australia in the first Test, the visitors are looking in control of the opening Test. On the other hand, the WPL 2024 is producing thrillers one after the other with some exceptional performances.

WPL 2024: Royal Challengers Bangalore Women vs Mumbai Indians Women

Smriti Mandhana-led Royal Challengers Bangalore Women will take on Nat Sciver-Brunt’s Mumbai Indians Women at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match is scheduled to commence at 7:30 p.m. IST. Both teams are coming into this match after losing their previous fixtures in the WPL 2024. Speaking of the points table, while the RCB Women sit comfortably at the second place with two wins from three games, the defending champions are reeling at the fourth place with a similar result.  

PSL 2024: Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi

Shaheen Shah Afridi-led Lahore Qalandars will take on Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi in Match 17 of the PSL 2024. The match is scheduled to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpinidi from 2:30 p.m. IST. Both the teams are coming off contrasting results. While the Peshawar Zalmi won by 8 runs against Islamabad United, the Qalandars lost to Multan Sultans in their last fixture. 

PSL 2024: Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators

Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United will host the Rilee Rossouw’s Quetta Gladiators in match 18 of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024. The match is scheduled to commence at 7:30 p.m. IST at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi. Both the teams are coming off a win in their respective fixtures. While the United best Karachi Kings, the Gladiators won by 5 wickets against Karachi Kings.

After losing their opening two Women's Premier League 2024 clashes against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals respectively, Alyssa Healy's UP Warriorz went on to register back-to-back wins in their next two fixtures. The Warriorz defeated Gujarat Giants by six wickets with 26 balls remaining at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday.

India squad for T20 World Cup 2024 to be announced by May 1: Reports

India’s squad participating in the T20 Men’s World Cup 2024 will reportedly be announced by May 1. As per the reports by SportsTak, India’s squad for the forthcoming global cricketing tournament will be picked by the deadline, May 1. However, changes to the squad can be made until May 25, but anything after that would have to be approved by the ICC Technical Committee first.

Netflix announces documentary on India-Pakistan cricket rivalry

Netflix, one of the most popular streaming platforms, announced that it will soon release a documentary based on the cricket rivalry between arch-rivals India and Pakistan. The documentary featuring cricket stories from the neighbouring nations will be titled ‘The Greatest Rivalry’. The OTT platform released the first look announcement video on its social media platforms.

The tournament will take place in Pune and feature teams representing six zones - East, West, North, South, Central, and NorthEast. This red-ball competition will include five matches and kick-off days after the ongoing WPL, which ends on March 17.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Ireland on Friday, March 1. BCB unveils new Bangladesh national team jerseys in Dhaka

The Bangladesh Cricket Board unveiled new men's, women's and junior national team jerseys. The new Bangla Tigers' kit was unveiled in a grand ceremony at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka. The event also saw the announcement of Mobile network operator company, Robi, returning as the title sponsor. 

Kusal Perera ruled out of T20I series against Bangladesh; replacement announced

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has named Niroshan Dickwella as Kusal Perera’s replacement for the T20I series against Bangladesh. Perera is suffering from respiratory infection, which has ruled him out of the series, starting March 4.
