During the chase, the middle-order including Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, and skipper Matthew Wade scored runs for Australia, however, early wickets resulted in their second consecutive loss.

Parthiv Patel's Gujarat Giants defeated Suresh Raina-led Urbanrisers Hyderabad by one run on Sunday to clinch the third spot in the LLCT20 2023 standings, however, the Urbanrisers are still placed at the second spot. Batting first, the Giants placed 193 runs on the board at a loss of five wickets as Richard Levi scored 49-off-19 with six fours and three sixes.
