On Monday, November 6, Mandeep Singh-led Punjab defeated Krunal Pandya's Baroda by 20 runs to loft the SMAT 2023 championship at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. Batting first, Punjab placed a huge total of 223 runs as Anmolpreet Singh (113 off 61) scored a century with 10 fours and six sixes while Nehal Wadhera (61 off 27) smashed a half-century with six fours and four sixes. Apart from Abhimanyusingh Rajput (61), Ninad Rathva (47), and skipper Kruna Pandya (45), Baroda batters failed to deliver and lost the SMAT 2023 final by 20 runs as Arshdeep Singh picked up four wickets.
