One of the most epic matches in the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 was played on Tuesday between Australia and Afghanistan as star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell ran riots at the  Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Australia became the third team to qualify for the CWC 2023 semi-finals and confirmed their fixture against South Africa.

ICC ODI World Cup 2023: England vs Netherlands

In the 40th match of the ODI World Cup 2023, the two bottom-placed teams the Netherlands and England will go head-to-head at the MCA Stadium in Pune. England are in no contention for the World Cup semi-finals qualification, the defending champions will look to book their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 berth by winning their remaining two matches. Maxwell's 201* carries Australia to historic 3-wicket win over Afghanistan

Australia's Glenn Maxwell smashed a double century to beat Afghanistan by three wickets in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Maxwell also became the first batter in ODI history to score 200 in the second innings. The win also ensured that the five-time champions completed qualification to the semi-finals of the World Cup. While chasing a 292-run target, Maxwell and Pat Cummins stitched up a historic 202-run partnership to finish off the game. Maxwell smashed an unbeaten 201 in 128 balls with 21 fours and 10 sixes at a strike rate of  157.03 to create history.

The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 has approved Anamul Haque Bijoy as a replacement for Shakib Al Hasan in the Bangladesh squad.  Anamul Haque who has played 45 ODIs, was named as a replacement after Shakib was ruled out due to a fracture of the index finger of his left hand sustained during Bangladesh’s match against Sri Lanka on Monday.

PCB asks Rizwan to delete social media post dedicating Pakistan's win over Sri Lanka to Palestinians: Reports

Sri Lanka Court reinstates sacked cricket board

The Sri Lanka Court of Appeal has made a bold step to overturn the decision of Sri Lanka Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe. The Court appealed to hear the petition filed by the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Shammi Silva challenging the Gazette notification. Afghanistan qualify for Champions Trophy 2025, set to play in tournament for first time

In a historic feat, the Afghanistan cricket team have qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy for the first time in their sporting history, with the tournament set to be played in 2025 in Pakistan. Their qualification was confirmed after Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets in the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Monday, November 6.
