Jofra Archer joins England squad as reserve player for CWC 2023; video surfaces
On Thursday, October 20, Jofra Archer, one of the premier fast bowlers in world cricket, joined the England squad as a reserve player in Mumbai, ahead of their must-win clash against South Africa in the ODI World Cup 2023. The 28-year-old was spotted putting in the work at the Wankhede Stadium, doing some sprints on his own, away from the main group of English players.
CWC 2023: Hardik Pandya to miss game against New Zealand in Dharamsala
Team India vice-captain Hardik Pandya sustained an injury to his left ankle while fielding on his own bowling during India’s match against Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. The all-rounder was taken for scans and is advised to rest. He will be under the constant supervision of the BCCI Medical Team. He will not be taking the flight to Dharamsala with the team on 20th October and will now join the team directly in Lucknow where India play England.

Mohammed Azharuddin terms HCA corruption allegations against him 'false' and 'motivated'
The Hyderabad police filed an FIR against former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin over allegations of misappropriation of funds from the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). Apart from Azharuddin, some former office bearers also had the case filed against them at the Uppal Police Station in Hyderabad, police said on Thursday. However, the 60-year-old former cricketer and current politician turned down the allegations against him by terming them 'false' and 'motivated allegations' on X.
