In the 19th match of the IPL 2024, home side Rajasthan Royals are set to don their special pink jerseys against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday to fulfill its “Pink Promise” initiative, where they tend to amplify the foundation’s overarching vision of ‘Aurat Hai to Bharat Hai’ which aims to support the inspiration of women from rural India and to empower them.

Rajasthan Royals are scheduled to host Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 19th match of the IPL 2024 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday at 07:30 p.m. IST. While RR have played three matches and are yet to lose a game, RCB have played four matches and managed just one win. In the  IPL 2024 standings, Sanju Samson's Royals are placed second with six points while Faf du Plessis-led RCB have managed the eighth spot with two points.

CSK suffer second defeat in IPL 2024; slump to SunRisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets

Reigning champions Chennai Super Kings had a rough outing against SunRisers Hyderabad on Friday as they suffered their second defeat of the IPL 2024. In the first innings,  Shivam Dube played a decent knock of 45 runs in 24 deliveries to give CSK much-needed stability, but narrowly missed his half-century.  Former captain MS Dhoni and senior all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja remained not out for 1 and 31 runs respectively as Chennai placed a 166-run target.  Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma took control and gave SRH a significant start while Aiden Markaram smashed a half-century as Hyderabad won the match by six wickets and 11 balls remaining.

NGT seeks report from KSCA on source of water used at Bengaluru stadium

The Nationa Green Tribunal (NGT) directed the Karnataka State Cricket Association and other state authorities to provide details of water used in the IPL 2024 matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium amid the Bengaluru water crisis. The governing body requested the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and Karnataka Control Board (KSPCB) to reveal the information on the source of water used in the stadium by May 2.

The Delhi-based side will miss the services of Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who also missed DC’s last two fixtures.  The 29-year-old has reportedly picked up a groin injury, which has ruled him out of the next few matches of IPL 2024.
