Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag refused to talk about the future of the French striker Anthony Martial’s future at the club in the build-up to their upcoming Premier League game against Aston Villa at the Old Trafford. When asked if there is any chance of Anthony Martial leaving Manchester United next month in the transfer window, Erik ten Hag said, “When we have news, then of course I will tell it. But that is not our aim.”

Tottenham are reportedly monitoring the progress of Dominic Solanke, the English striker, in their bid to sign a striker in the summer as per The Sun. Notably, the 26-year-old had scored a hattrick against Nottingham Forest on the weekend during their 3-2 win in the Premier League match at the City Ground, taking his goal-scoring tally to 11 in 17 matches.

Real Betis get closer to signing Marc Roca on permanent deal: Reports

Real Betis are reportedly making progress in regards to completing a permanent deal for the Spanish midfielder Marc Roca, who is currently on loan with them from Leeds United. As per the report from the Football Insider, the 27-year-old has instructed his agent to secure him a move permanently with Real Betis after playing just one season of football at Elland Road.

Hockey India released 34-player list pick for camp ahead of Women's Olympic Qualifiers

Hockey India announced the 34 players part of the senior women’s hockey coaching camp starting on Thursday. The camp has been set up as preparation for the Olympic Qualifiers in Ranchi from January 13-19 and the Hockey5s World Cup.

Denver Broncos set  to release cornerback Kareem Jackson

NFL franchise Denver Broncos released cornerback Kareem Jackson on Monday, per multiple reports. Jackson has served two suspensions for six games this season after his hits were deemed unnecessary roughness by the NFL. Jackson's second suspension recently ended, making him ready for the game against the New England Patriots. But the Broncos didn't activate him for the Patriots’s game which ended in a 26-23 loss. If Jackson clears waivers, he could be part of the Broncos' practice squad.

No Russian, or Belarusian equestrians in Paris Olympics 2024

The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) has barred Russian, or Belarusian equestrians from the Paris Olympics 2024. The FEI said, "According to the Olympic Qualification Systems for Equestrian, individual qualification is secured through the FEI Olympic Rankings... from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. "Since Russian and Belarusian athletes have not competed in FEI Events since 2 March 2022, no representatives of these nations will take part in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games."

Ex-Rangers catcher Mitch Garver set to join Seattle Mariners

Former Texas Rangers catcher Mitch Garver will join the Seattle Mariners on a $24 million, two-year contract Sunday. The development was confirmed by the Associated Press. The deal is still not announced as Garver’s physical is still pending. The 32-year-old batted .270 with 19 homer runs and 50 RBIs in 87 games for Texas this year. He hit .226 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 14 postseason games and played a pivotal role in Rangers’ World Series win for the first time in franchise history.

Naveen Kumar becomes sixth raider in PKL with 1000 raid points

Naveen Kumar became the sixth player to reach 1000 raid points in the Pro Kabaddi League during Dabang Delhi KC’s match against Bengal Warriors in Chennai. Kumar joins the likes of  Pardeep Narwal, Maninder Singh, Pawan Sehrawat, Rahul Chaudhari and Deepak Hooda in the 1k club. Kumar started the game with 990 points and completed a Super 10 to reach the milestone. He then ended the match with 11 points which included four bonus points.
