India bag three gold medals at Para-Badminton World Championships 

Pramod Bhagat of India defeated England’s Daniel Bethell in the SL3 to retain gold at the NSDF Royal Beach Cliff BWF Para-Badminton World Championships in Thailand. The win came as a record breaker as it made him the first para-athlete to win three consecutive gold at the elite competition. Not only this, but he also equalled the record of Din Dan’s five World Championships by winning gold in 2009, 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2024. With his gold, Pramod is now at a tally of 14, including six golds, three silvers, and five bronzes. In the other category, Suhas Yathiraj defeated India’s Fredy Setiwan to secure gold in the SL4 category.
