Benjamin Mendy, who was acquitted of a series of rape and attempted rape charges, has taken Manchester City to the employment tribunal after claiming that he is owed millions of pounds due to unauthorised wage deductions. The 29-year-old, who joined French club Lorient after leaving Manchester City this past summer, has the UK’s lawyer Nick De Marco handling his case, wherein it is alleged that his former club stopped paying him in September of 2021 after he was initially charged and held in custody.
Kylian Mbappe refuses to talk about PSG future with months remaining on his contract
The French forward Kylian Mbappe, the FIFA World Cup winner from 2018, has refused to talk about his future at Paris Saint-Germain with just a few months remaining on his contract with the club. The 24-year-old was quoted as saying to Telefoot about the PSG situation, “It’s something I don’t want to talk about, especially since I already did it in June and it took up a big part of the time with the national team. I want us to talk more about the national team, rather than me talking about something that will be resolved one day, so there will be time to talk about that.”

Sergino Dest sent off after receiving two yellow cards in 20 seconds
The USMNT defender Sergino Dest was sent off in the first half of their clash against Trinidad and Tobago. During the match, the USA defender got two back-to-back yellow cards within a 20-second gap, both for dissent. Initially, Dest punted the ball into the stands, and then made some unprofessional moves towards the official.
While many of his teammates tried to pull Dest away, the footballer threw himself back in the situation. He continued gesturing towards the referee and continued shouting at him. The official was quick to pull the yellow card back, forcing the player to walk off the field.

India’s star defender Manvir Singh is likely to miss India’s second World Cup qualifier clash against Qatar on November 21. As per Khel Now, Singh missed the practice session held earlier on Monday. Indian ace shuttler HS Prannoy and world number five duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty made it to the second round of China Masters Super 750 badminton tournament. Prannoy registered a straight game win over Chinese Taipei's Chou Tien Chen in Shenzhen on Tuesday. He defeated the world number 12 with 21-18 22-20. On the other hand, the Asian Games gold medalist duo prevailed 21-13 21-10 over England's Ben Lane and Sean Vendy.

Season eight winners Dabang Delhi K.C. announced their captain and vice-captain for the 2023 season. They have named Naveen Kumar Goyat as their captain while announcing left-corner Vishal Bhardwaj as his deputy.
