Francesco Camarda became the youngest player to make his Serie A debut, aged 15 years and 260 days, as a substitute for AC Milan during their 1-0 win against Fiorentina at the San Siro. He beat the record held by Wisdom Amey for Bologna, who debuted at the age of 15 years and 274 days old during the Serie A season in 2021.
South Africa withdraws bid to host 2027 Women's World Cup
South Africa withdrew their bid to host the Women's World Cup in 2027, leaving three bids in the running, the USA and Mexico. South Africa's Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed that it does not intend to bid for the 2027 Women's World Cup and will instead focus on a bid to host the 2031 edition of the tournament. According to Reuters, a total of three bids are remaining, a joint bid from the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, a joint bid from the United States and Mexico, and one from Brazil.

The Indian ace shuttler duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty lost the final clash of the China Masters on November 26. The India shuttlers went down to Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang in the men's doubles final. Satwik-Chirag lost the first game 19-21 and made a remarkable comeback in the second game to win it 21-18, and made another attempt at a comeback after being down 1-8 before losing the decider 19-21 in a one-hour, 11-minute battle. The Indians were just a win away from claiming their second BWF Super 750 title when they took to the court.

Tennis icon Novak Djokovic fumed over the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) after he was asked to undergo a doping test shortly before Serbia's Davis Cup win over Great Britain. Djokovic said, "I didn't believe that they could make such a decision, in 20 and more years of my career, it never happened to me that an hour-and-a-half before the match, I needed to go for doping control.” He added, "I have my own routine -- I don't need that distraction, to have my urine and blood taken, to think about whether I can give urine at that moment.”

Great Britain's tennis star Cameron Norrie opened up on losing the Davis Cup final to Novak Djokovic. Cameron said that though he is disappointed with the loss, he is quite satisfied with the way he played against the Serbian. The British said, “Disappointed to lose that one. I knew it was going to be a tough match today going in, so yeah, I had to believe as much as I could, but I was impressed with how he served. I think I definitely brought a much better level than I had the last end of my year, so I was kind of proud of how I competed, but it was still tough to lose that one. But I could see him hurting a little bit down at the other end, so that was good and a good test for my game.”

Boris Becker made it to tennis after spending a few months in jail and was announced the coach of Holger Rune. The six-time Grand Slam champion and former world No 1 will coach Rune till 2024 and the German has spoken of how he was welcomed back into the tennis world. Becker said, “The tennis community really made it very easy for me to re-establish myself here –starting with Holger, of course, who really wanted me. In Paris, Cedric Pioline, who I must have played against 15 times, greeted me warmly and asked: ‘Where have you been for so long? We’ve missed you!’ That was really great for me personally.”
