Team India are currently in England for a five-match Test series and the visitors are now in trouble as they have to win the fourth game at Old Trafford in Manchester, to keep their series victory chances alive. England are currently ahead in the series with a 2-1 margin. After facing a humiliating defeat at the hands of India at Edgbaston, the hosts returned to winning ways after clinching a 22-run win in the Lord’s Test. After three matches, the Test series has taken an interesting turn and it will be interesting to see how Team India bounce back in the upcoming game.
However, just days ahead of the Old Trafford Test, the menu of the third Test played at Lord’s is trending on social media. On July 11, Lord’s Cricket Ground’s social media handle posted a picture of the lunch menu served to both teams on the second day of the match after the hype around the food at the venue on the first day grew. Dishes such as butternut squash soup, prawns with marie rose sauce, crushed new potatoes with spring onion, and more were available. Indian dishes such as paneer tikka, basmati rice, and butternut squash soup grabbed attention.
What Team India were served for lunch from the third day to the fifth day?
On the third day, Lord’s lunch menu featured lamb dopiaza curry, chicken curry, paneer and broccoli makhani, basmati rice, and many other British dishes.
Talking about the fourth day menu card, tomato and basil soup, chicken tikka curry, paneer korma, fruit salad, and Green yoghurt with summer berries, etc. were served on the menu.
The final day menu of Lord’s witnessed the dishes such as aloo sabzi, chicken supreme, basmati rice, prawn with Marie rose sauce, tandoori lamb rump, Greek Yoghurt, broccoli cauliflower carrots, fillet of sea bass, and scallops.
