The Group stage of the Asia Cup 2022 has concluded as Pakistan dominated Hong Kong in the final game of the stage on Friday. Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by 155 runs and booked their ticket to the Super Four stage alongside, Afghanistan, India, and Sri Lanka.
Afghanistan was the first team to qualify for the Super Fours after winning both their Asia Cup 2022 Group A games against Sri Lanka and Bangladesh by eight and seven wickets respectively. Sri Lanka became the second team from Group A to qualify for the Super Fours after defeating Bangladesh by two wickets.
On the other hand, Team India were the first team from Group B to qualify for the Super Four stage. India got the better of Pakistan in the opener and defeated Hong Kong in their second outing before Pakistan joined them after their victory over Hong Kong. The Super Four stage will commence on September 3 with Afghanistan taking on Sri Lanka.
All the qualified teams will face each other once in the round-robin format as the top two teams will play against each other in the Asia Cup 2022 final.

Team India will face the likes of arch-rivals Pakistan in their first Super Four fixture on Sunday, September 4 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Men in Blue are scheduled to play Sri Lanka on Tuesday, September 6 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
3. India vs Afghanistan: September 8, Thursday
The Indian side will face Afghanistan in their last match of the Super Fours on Thursday, September 8 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The final will be played on September 11, Sunday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
