Debutants Lucknow Super Giants will take on five-time champions Mumbai Indians in match number 37 of the Indian Premier League 2022 on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium. Lucknow has emerged as a credible side in the league as they have managed to win four games out of seven they have played. However, their last fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore served an unlikely result and the team would be looking to get back to their winning way against battered Mumbai Indians.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma is having the most forgettable season as the Men in Blue are yet to win a single game in the tournament. The team has achieved an unfortunate record of losing the first seven matches in the history of the Indian Premier League. Nothing seems to have worked in favour of Mumbai Indians as they haven't been able to crack the winning formula till now. Rohit and Ishan Kishan have completely failed to provide a solid start to their side, whereas inconsistency in the middle-order has become a significant concern for the side. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are the only two players who have impressed with the bat so far.

Mumbai's bowling was a significant issue for the side, but tough fightback in the last game came as a sigh of relief. Daniel Sams picked up four wickets in the game against CSK, and a lot will depend on his performance in the next fixture. However, Jayadev Unadkat conceding 16 runs in the last four-ball left Mumbai disappointed after coming so close to victory.
