The second edition of the Road Safety World Series is all set to kick off on 10 September in Lucknow. The tournament that brings ex-cricketers and celebrities together for a noble cause was a great success in its first edition. Apart from earning significant revenue, the tournament brought immense joy to cricket fans in the 90s. With the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, and Jonty Rhodes competing against each other once again, RSWS remains a top favourite tournament.
Now, as the tournament renews itself for a second season and has got even bigger with New Zealand Legends joining the seven teams, the excitement is bigger than ever. India’s batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is all set to captain India Legends. He will be joined by the likes of Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, and other former prominent cricketers.
While Lucknow will host the first seven matches between 10-15 September, Jodhpur will host the next five games between 16-19 September.
Cuttack will be the next destination for the players as the city will host as many as six matches between 21 and 25 September. The last leg and the knockout stage of the tournament will be played in Hyderabad from 27 September to 2 October.
