Rajasthan Royals will take on struggling Kolkata Knight Riders in match number 47 of the Indian Premier League. Both the teams are having a contrasting season as Kolkata Knight Riders are languishing at the bottom half of the table, while Rajasthan Royals are among the top four teams on the points table. However, both the teams had unlikely results in their last fixture as the Royals got beaten by Mumbai Indians, whereas Delhi Capitals outplayed Kolkata in the previous game.
The Royals have managed to win six out of nine games and are placed at the second position on the points table. Jos Buttler has been in great form in the tournament, but too much dependence on England batter may hurt the side in coming games. Sanju Samson has shown class, but consistency is something he is lacking.

In contrast, Royals bowling has seen everyone stepping up and performing up to their reputation. Yuzvendra Chahal is donning the purple cap with 19-wickets in nine games. Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna and R Ashwin have done exceptionally well for the side.
On the other hand, Kolkata has a handful of issues to resolve as except for skipper Shreyas Iyer, no one has performed, causing poor results in the tournament. The runners-up are on the verge of elimination after losing five games on the trot and would be hoping for big guns like Aaron Finch, Venkatesh Iyer, and Andre Russell to do well.
