Pakistan bowler underperformed in the sixth T20I against England on September 30 (Friday) at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to let the visitors level the series 3-3. In response to Pakistan's 169 in the 1st innings, England top-order batted brilliantly to clinch the game by 8 wickets.

England openers provided a flying started to the run chase as wicketkeeper batter Phil Salt and Alex Hales added 55 runs for the first wicket. The 33-year-old Alex Hales got dismissed in 3.5 overs after smashing 27 runs off 12 deliveries.

Phil Salt anchored the run-chase brilliantly as he held the fort from one end, while Dawid Malan (26 off 18) and Ben Duckett (26 off 16) also got opportunity to make valuable contribution in the game. For host, Shadab Khan was the only one who could pick wickets in the second innings as he finished the game with 2/30 in four overs.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's bowling coach Shaun Tait made a shocking claim during the post-match press conference which raised many eyebrows. Former New Zealand pacer who is currently Pakistan's bowling coach jokingly said that "whenever team loses the game badly, they send me to address the media."

As visible in the video, Tait's comment stunned everyone and created discomfort to the PCB moderator who reached out to the bowling coach immediately. Tait’s reaction has since then gone viral on social media.

Speaking of the series, England started off on a positive note as they beat hosts in the series opener, but Babar Azam-led side made a remarkable comeback in the bilateral contest, winning the next game. However, England once again stunned the hosts by outplaying them in the third match of the series.

However, the next two games saw best of Pakistan side as they clinched back-to-back victories. While Pakistan was looking to seal the series on Friday evening, Moeen Ali-led side registered comprehensive win in the game to level the series. Phil Salt’s 88 trumped over Babar Azam’s 87 for England to beat Pakistan and set up a series decider. Both the sides will play the decider on Sunday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 2.
