Kuldeep Yadav, the Indian unorthodox spinner, became the latest bowler to reach the coveted mark of 300 wickets in international cricket, achieving the big feat during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash against Pakistan on Sunday, February 23. Kuldeep Yadav is the 12th Indian bowler to get past 300 international wickets, to find his name among some of the greats, including names like Anil Kumble, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kapil Dev, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, and Ajit Agarkar, among others. Among the active Indian cricketers at the international level, he is fourth in the list of highest wicket-takers in all formats behind Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah.

Moreover, with the retirement of Ravichandran Ashwin from international cricket, Kuldeep Yadav could become a regular feature in Tests for India, which could propel him further in the list of highest wicket-takers for the country down the road.
