Caitlin Clark made a historic feat while playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes as she became the NCAA's all-time points leader in women's basketball. She broke former Washington guard Kelsey Plum's record of 3,527 points. The moment when Clark became the NCAA's all-time leading scorer in women's basketball,  the crowd erupted in excitement and celebration, and officials briefly paused the game to honor Caitlin Clark’s extraordinary accomplishment.

Caitlin Clark born in Des Moines, Lowa started playing basketball at the age of five and competed in boys' recreational leagues since her father could not find a girls' league for her age group. At the age of 13, she started playing several years ahead of her age group in the girls' league.

In sixth grade, Clark joined All Iowa Attack, an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball program based in Ames, Iowa, for whom she played until graduating from high school. She was coached by Dickson Jensen with Attack, and her AAU teammates included future Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) player Ashley Joens.
