Indian TV star Ridhima Pandit reacted to the latest rumours according to which she was going to marry Indian cricketing star Shubman Gill. Pandit, a renowned face of Indian television gained top spot on trends charts after rumours of her marrying Gill surfaced. As per the rumours, the actress and GT captain were set to tie the knot in December this year. However, the 33-year-old actress denied the reports and said that they are absolutely fake. Pandit told ETimes, "It is some people's imagination, I guess! Somebody creates a story and then it goes viral on social media. I don't even know Shubman Gill personally. This is ridiculous. I started receiving congratulatory messages since morning, and I was tired of denying this gossip. I finally decided to post it on my social media handle."
The actress had also posted an Instagram story but later took it down, where she said, "I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists and this has never happened. A lot of them want to know about my upcoming shaadi but to whom? No, it's not happening. Go on with your lovely day. Kuch hoga toh main bata dugi saamne se (If something like this is happening in my life I myself would announce it). Nothing is happening now. Bye."
Notably, Pandit gained fame for her role of Rajni in a Hindi drama ‘Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant.’ Not only this, but she also participated in popular stunt show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, and finished as the second runner s -up. This wasn’t the first time Gill’s name has been linked with someone. Earlier, rumours of him dating Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar also gained a lot of headlines.
