The reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, has defeated the who’s who of the wrestling industry. The Samoan wrestler has wreaked havoc and has arguably become one of the greatest champions in the recent history of the company. Reigns recently defeated YouTube star Logan Paul in an epic match at the Crown Jewel premium live event in Riyadh.
As the ‘road to WrestleMania’ is approaching, WWE fans are eagerly waiting for someone to challenge the Head of the Table for his championship. Ever since Reigns turned heel, he has defeated Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Edge, and many legends of this business.
Now, WWE fans are rooting for the former WWE Champion to challenge Reigns. The fans took to Twitter and expressed their views that ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus must challenge the reigning champion.
The two heavyweights were once fierce rivals. The storyline started in 2015 when Roman Reigns was a supposed babyface and went toe-to-toe with The Authority. After winning the WWE Championship, then Money in the Bank holder, Sheamus, cashed in on Reigns and became the WWE Champion.
Now that almost a decade has passed, the fans are overwhelmed with the feeling of these two squaring off again inside the ring. Reigns has defeated Cesaro, former tag team partner of Sheamus.
Since 2015, ‘The Celtic Warrior’ has not got a taste for the gold; however, things can become interesting now that Sheamus has revived his career big time.
