The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 culminated on Tuesday, June 3 with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ending their trophy drought and lifting their maiden title, beating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, the moment will be one to cherish for the RCB side as they defeated a competitive side after finishing as the runners-up on three previous occasions.
In teh tournament, which saw some teams earn laurels, there were some standout individual performances whic stole the limelight. Among many was Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) Nicholas Pooran, who had hit 40 sixes in this edition of the tournament to claim the Super Sixes of the Season Award. He stood just one six ahead of Shreyas Iyer.
