After conceding a massive 233-run total, Mumbai Indians were dealt with a massive blow as Ishan Kishan couldn't walk out to bat. Later as the innings progressed, the commentators revealed that Kishan had injured his eye in the first innings.

Replacing Kishan, reserve keeper Vishnu Vinod came at the end of the 16th over. Between overs, Ishan Kishan was seen walking straight into Chris Jordan who was putting on his cap and Jordan's elbow hit Ishan's left eye. The extent of the injury isn't stated by the MI camp but if this is something serious, Kishan could be out for the upcoming World Test Championship.
