Sachin Tendulkar, fondly called the God of Cricket by his fans, has a phenomenal record in his Test career. Tendulkar has been the highest run-scorer in this format since October 2008 and currently has 15921 runs from 200 Test matches (329 innings). The Mumbai batter has an impressive average of 53.78 overall with 51 centuries to his name, but interestingly, his career strike rate has not been known shockingly.

In world cricket, Rahul Dravid stands number one for facing the most balls (31258) in Test cricket. Notably, Sachin is second on that list with a record of more than 29,400-plus balls overall.

Most balls faced by a batsman in a Test career overall:
Rahul Dravid - 31258
Sachin Tendulkar - 29437+
Jacques Kallis - 28903
Shivnarine Chanderpaul - 27395
Allan Border - 27002+

Now, for Sachin Tendulkar, the  '+' symbol has been denoted next to the number of balls he faced in his career because he has faced 29437 balls in his career from 328 innings (199 Test matches). But in one of the remaining test matches that he played against Sri Lanka in November 1990 at Chandigarh, there was no record of several balls faced by Sachin Tendulkar, where he scored 11 runs after spending 92 minutes on the crease.

Removing that one inning from Sachin's career, he has scored 15910 runs from 29437 balls in his Test career, where his strike rate would be 54.04. Hence, Tendulkar's strike rate would,  approximately,  be 54. But officially, his strike rate can't be calculated as we don't know how many deliveries he played exactly against Sri Lanka at Chandigarh in November 1990.
