Alexander Zverev, the world number 21 in men's tennis, showed off his golf skills in a video posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday. The German star, who won the 2021 ATP Finals and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics gold medal, was seen hitting a golf ball in a garden in his latest video on social media

Zverev, who has 19 ATP titles and two doubles titles to his name, is known for his powerful serve and backhand, but he also seems to have a decent swing on the golf course. The tennis star has often expressed his love for golf and has shared the tennis court with players such as Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.

The 26-year-old hit the ball over a considerably long distance with quite ease. He missed the mark on his first attempt but secured the target on the very next attempt. There was even a bench in between Zverev and the bin, obstructing the view.  The popular song, ‘Man on a Mission’ was playing in the background. Zverev posted the viral golf video on his Instagram profile with the caption, “Getting ready…. Soon….. but for now ⛳️”.

Zverev is currently preparing for the Wimbledon Championships, which started on Monday, July 3. The Olympic gold medallist will be seeded 19th at the grass-court Grand Slam, where he has never gone past the fourth round. Zverev is slated to face Gijs Brouwer, a Dutch qualifier ranked 153rd in the world, in the first round.

The German star will be hoping to improve his performance at Wimbledon, where the world no.21 has struggled with consistency and injuries in the past. The German reached the final of the US Open in 2020, losing to Dominic Thiem in a five-set thriller.  also had a disappointing outing at the French Open this year, where he lost to Casper Ruud in the semi-final.
