The Wimbledon draw for 2022 has been completed with a few of the most highly-anticipated clashes in the men's singles draw already lined up in the first round. Amongst the most competitive clashes, Defending champion Novak Djokovic will start his men’s singles campaign against his South Korea’s counterpart Kwon Soon-Woo on the Centre Court on Monday (June 27), but possibly he will face the ATP winner and young prodigy Carlos Alcaraz in a blockbuster quarter-final.

Another potential contest could take place between top-seeded Rafael Nadal might face Felix Auger-Aliassime in the next round. However, the above two mentioned are two anticipated contests, but there are a few highly-competitive contests already locked in and guaranteed to deliver a cracking battle on the grass court. Emerged as one of the brightest talents, Jannik Sinner, will take on the experienced champion in the first round Stan Wawrinka which will set the perfect foundation for the men's singles draw.

Tenth-seeded Sinner is a five-time tour-level champion and has qualified at least the fourth round at all three of the other Grand Slams. Meanwhile, Wawrinka entered the clash with a 2-0 lead in their ATP head-to-head series, but both of his victories came in 2019 when Sinner was outside the Top 100 in Pepperstone ATP Rankings.
