Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), developed by KRAFTON Inc., finally made its long-awaited return to the country on May 29, Monday. It is currently available for users to download and play on their Android and iOS devices from the respective app stores.
The free-to-play battle royale game, which was initially suspended by Government of India in July last year, became operational when KRAFTON uploaded the highly anticipated BGMI Update 2.5 for Android users on Google Play Store on May 27. The same update is expected to hit the Apple App Store for iOS users by today.
Notably, BGMI comes with certain restrictions as per the rules and regulations stipulated by the Indian government to ensure healthy gaming practices. According to reports, the adults can access the game for six hours per day, while the minors will have three hours of playtime online only after parental verification.
Ever since the Battlegrounds Mobile India has been made available to download and play for everyone on May 29, the fans are posting their experiences of gaming on their social media accounts. Twitter is filled with lots of great reactions and status updates from gamers from all over the country.
