Each franchise will have a purse of Rs. 12 crores to spend for players which are placed in four categories – Rs. 50 Lakh, Rs. 40 Lakh, Rs. 20 Lakh and Rs. 10 Lakh.

BCCI announces WPL 2023 season schedule

After the culmination of the Women's Premier League auction, the BCCI has announced the schedule for the 2023 season of WPL. The tournament starts with the Gujarat Giants taking on Mumbai Indians at the DY Patil Stadium on March 4 2023.
