After the conclusion of thrilling men's Asia Cup 2022, women's version of the continental tournament featuring seven teams will resume from October 1 to 16 in Bangladesh. Reigning champion Bangladesh women will take on Thailand in the opener, while Indian women cricket team will face Sri Lanka in the second game on the first day of the continental tournament. 

Notably, the eighth edition of the competition will be played in a round-robin format with each team set to engage in six matches and top four sides qualifying in the semi-finals. The league stage will continue till October 11, while the semi-finals is scheduled for October 13. 

Meanwhile, summit-clash will take place on October 15. UAE and Malaysia are the two teams which qualified for the continental tournament after reaching the final of the 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship, which was played in June 2022 in Malaysia.
