Sri Lanka Women faced a crushing defeat against India in their first match of the Asia Cup 2022. The Chamari Athapaththu-led team could not chase 151 in their designated 20 overs and got bowled out for a mere 109. Meanwhile, UAE will be playing their first game of the tournament. 

Sri Lanka Women have a lot to address before they take the field against UAE on Sunday. Only three of their batters scored in double digits. The running between the wickets was also an issue as Sri Lanka suffered two runouts. It will be interesting to see how they approach the game against UAE.
