The 2024 season of the Women's Premier League will be played in Bangalore and Mumbai. The first season of the WPL was an enormous success with the Mumbai Indians, led by India captain Harmanpreet Kaur, winning the title in a near-perfect campaign. But the entire tournament was played across two venues in Mumbai- DY Patil Stadium and Brabourne Stadium.

Although there hasn't been any official announcement, a report by Women's CricZone states that the tournament will be played in Mumbai and Bengaluru.  Similarly, reports also reveal that the second edition of WPL will kick off in February.

The start of 2024 will see a lot of action for women's cricket in India. Before the WPL, India is set to host England and Australia in Mumbai for four and seven matches respectively. These two high-profile tours will kick off in late November and conclude in January.

Earlier, reports alluded that the WPL 2024 will be played in a home-and-away format like the Indian Premier League (IPL).  Further talking about the coming edition of the WPL, BCCI released a list of players with the five participating teams sharing lists of retained 60 players and 29 released players. Similarly, reports have revealed that the WPL auction will take place in December.
