Australia scored 270/8 and declared their second innings with the help of decent contributions from both Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc in the lower order and set a herculean target of 444 runs to chase in the fourth innings of this Test match. Jadeja picked three wickets overall, while Shami and Umesh Yadav picked two wickets each with the ball respectively. 

India ended day 4 of the Test match with a total of 164/3 in the second innings and they need 280 more runs on the final day to win the WTC 2023 final trophy with seven wickets in hand. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant knock of 43 runs from 60 balls before getting dismissed and Virat Kohli looks in good touch and currently, he remains unbeaten at 44.
