The long-awaited return of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to India has been confirmed earlier today with a massive show in Hyderabad on Friday, September 8, 2023. WWE Superstar Spectacle will happen at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, also known as Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, the first-ever live event of its kind in the capital of Telangana.
WWE made its appearance in India last time on December 9, 2017, with a live event at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, where some of the biggest stars of the company, including The Shield, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Alex Bliss, and Sasha Banks, among others. In the main event, Jinder Mahal, The Modern Day Maharaja, was beaten by The Game, Triple H in front of his home fans to signal an end to his mega push in the promotion.

The ticketing details for the Superstar Spectacle were also shared in a tweet on the official Twitter account of the WWE. It was revealed that the tickets for the show will be available from 12:00 PM IST on Friday, August 4, 2023, at BookMyShow, while the fans can register on the website and app of the aforementioned platform for an early presale from 12:00 PM IST, just a day prior.
In a statement on their official website, WWE sent out a list of superstars that the Indian fans could potentially see perform in front of their very eyes at the Superstar Spectacle.
They stated, “WWE fans in WWE fans in attendance can look forward to seeing their favorite WWE Superstars in action including World Heavyweight Champion Seth 'Freakin' Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, Intercontinental Champion 'The Ring General' Gunther, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Matt Riddle, Ludwig Kaiser, and many more”.
