The acclamation of the WWE SummerSlam as one of the best sports entertainment shows is undoubtedly true. The mega show enthrals the audience every time it makes it to the screens. So was this time when the WWE SummerSlam 2021 took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fights, battles and results have been fascinating given the wrestlers gave it all in the ring.
Results: John Cena VS Roman Reigns
Cena VS Reigns was a key match and all eyes were on these two superstars as Cena battled out with Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. Cena fought hard for the title but it was Reigns, who landed two Superman punches followed by a Spear on the Former WWE Champion to win by pinfall and retain his title. But it wasn’t over as The Beast Incarnate made his comeback to the WWE and destroyed Cena with two Suplex City and an F5.
Edge defeated Seth Rollins
Edge and Rollins also fought their heart out as both the wrestlers put up a great show. Edge was back with Brood- era. The fight displayed the Rated-R Superstar hitting moves like the Edge-a- caution, the Edge- a- cator and the Edge- o- matic, while Rollins also replied Edge with Spear and a Perigee. Edge then implemented a modified crossface as Rollins tapped out.
Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair
It was not only Lesnar who made a return to WWE but Becky Lynch too made her return and won the title after defeating Bianca Belair. Sasha Banks was a no-show at tonight’s SummerSlam and was replaced by Lynch, who challenged Smackdown’s Women Champion- Belair for a fight. Lynch got the better of Belair in less than a minute as she won the title.
RK- Bro defeated AJ Styles & Omos
The RK- Bro tag team of Matt Riddle and Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles and Omos to clinch the Raw Tag Team Championship from the latter
Bobby Lashley defeated Goldberg
Bobby Lashley got the better of Goldberg as he busted the TKO after Goldberg got injured. Even after winning, the All-Mighty kept attacking Goldberg. The latter’s son came in the protection of his father but was trapped into a lock by Lashley.
