On Friday, April 5, Paul Heyman, one of the greatest professional wrestling personalities, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame (HOF) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. During his induction speech, Paul Heyman went extreme, stating that if someone thinks that the spirit of ECW died in a bankruptcy court in 2001, then they can suck his “f****** d***.”
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony began with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, taking center stage, to induct Paul Heyman, the Wiseman, into the HOF class of 2024. Upon walking out in front of a sold-out crowd at the Wells Fargo Center, he hugged the likes of Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, and Bully Ray, three of the biggest ECW superstars of all time, who were seated near the entrance.
After getting inside the squared circle, Paul Heyman gave a big hug to Roman Reigns, and then, he took the stage himself. Following some light-hearted talk, he talked about how Triple H led WWE out of the storm in an incredible manner in recent times, before stating that until he is alive, he will be a “Paul Levesque” guy.
