Ravindra Jadeja made everyone proud as the India all-rounder notched up a fine century against Sri Lanka in the first Test. Jadeja brought his second international century off 160 balls and earned praise from fans on Twitter. As soon as Jadeja completed his century, 'Rockstar Jadeja' started trending on Twitter.
Fans hailed the all-rounder for his fine knock, but the main reason behind 'Rockstar Jadeja' trending was something else. While many address Jadeja as 'Sir Jadeja' as MS Dhoni called him that, it was Shane Warne who gave Jadeja the 'Rockstar' prefix. During his first IPL stint with Rajasthan Royals, Jadeja impressed Shane Warne who was the captain of the franchise then and hence the latter called him Rockstar. Warne had also predicted that Jadeja will turn out to be a fine all-rounder.
Now, with Jadeja scoring a century after returning to action, fans hailed Shane Warne for identifying the talented cricketer in him. However, people felt sad that the cricketer is no more to see one of his favorite cricketers performing well for his nation. Notably, the Australian leggie passed away on March 4 due to a suspected heart attack.
"Ravindra Jadeja gets to his century. Devastated that his Rajasthan Royals captain is not around to congratulate the man he christened 'Rockstar Jadeja.'" wrote Joy Bhattacharya on Twitter.

India look past 500!
On the back of batting heroics from Rishabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, India is now looking to post a total past 500. Jadeja, the centurion, is still at the crease looking to up the ante. He has Mohammed Shami to aid him.
