Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who is celebrating his 40th birthday today, has made a special announcement for his fans. He disclosed that he will be going to make a big NFT collection for them which will be launched on Christmas day. It should be noted that NFT or a Non-fungible token is a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on blockchain technology.

The Man of the Tournament of the ODI World Cup 2011, Yuvi took to Twitter to make the announcement for his fans.

"Being there from ball 1 to the time I decided to hang up my jersey, the fans have always been with me.Thank u for cheering in my highs & giving strength in my lows.On my b’day I’m proud to announce a special gift for u-Yuvraj Singh NFT Collection in partnership with @colexionNFT," he tweeted.

Earlier, Yuvi had hinted at a cricketing comeback. Alongside a video, this is what Yuvi had written: "God decides your destiny !!On public demand il be back on the pitch hopefully in February ! Ain’t nothing like this feeling ! Thank you for your love and wishes ❤️ mean a lot to me ! Keep supporting ?? it’s our team and a true fan will show his or her support in tough times."

The video was nothing else but the highlights of the last international hundred that came from his bat against England on January 19, 2017 in Cuttack. Yuvi in fact equalled his highest ODI score in that match and the match also marked MS Dhoni's last hundred in an ODI fixture.

Here is the video:

Many feel that Yuvi could be hinting at playing some other T20 league meant for retired international players. He had already featured in the Global T20 Canada and even in the Road Safety World Series where he even played a few great innings rolling back the years in fine fashion and saying that it was his golf swing that was helping him score runs post his international career.

Legendary India batter Sachin Tendulkar was the captain of the Indian Legends side in that tournament and it was his team involving players like Yuvi, Pragyan Ojha, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan among others that defeated Sri Lanka legends in the final to win the trophy.
