The seven-time Wimbledon champion, Serena Williams has dominated the women's tennis for a long time in her professional career. Last year, the tennis icon was seen in a commercial as wonder woman and now, Zestworld launched a superhero NFT of Serena Williams and daughter Olympia.
Serena WIlliams' husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian has worked with award-winning comic artist Amanda Conner to create an NFT of Williams and their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. as Supergirls.
Ohanian took to his official Twitter handle to release the NFT artwork of Serena and Olympia. He wrote, "I commissioned the incredible @AmandaRantsAlot to create this custom NFT artwork of Serena & Olympia for them. The first ever from @zestworldcomics new digital commissions tool. Now we’re creating comics in Web3 ?".
When asked about how she felt drawing Serena and her daughter as Supergirl, Amanda Conner said, “First of all, when I was asked to do this I was scared to death. All I could think of was ‘I’m going to do this... but I really hope she likes this!’ So my first emotion was fear.”
Conner also mentioned that Alexis Ohanian, also an investor in Zestworld, wanted a Kryptonian superhero. “I think Alexis mentioned that she was a Supergirl fan, so he wanted something like that,” she added.
