Zimbabwe Cricket on Saturday, May 3 announced their 15-member squad for the historic Test against England, scheduled to be held later this month. The sqaud announcement from Zimbabwe Cricket comes after the fierce Test series against Bangladesh, which saw the series getting tied.
Seeing their two-match Test series, the Chevrons have made some notable changes to their lineup. In a notable move, Craig Ervine will continue to lead the side, the squad has also seen the return of all-rounder Sikandar Raza, who comes in place of Johnathan Campbell.

In another big change, Clive Madande has recovered from the injury and will be taking over the backup wicketkeeper role from Nyasha Mayavo. Vincent Masekesa will miss out from the series, who had a memorable debut in Bangladesh, picking a five-wicket haul. In his place, Zimbabwe has opted for an extra pace option in Newman Nyamhuri.
Speaking of the series, the Craig Ervine-led side will face England in a historic Test at Trent Bridge, beginning from May 22. Notably, it marks the first Test for the Chevrons on Englaish soil since 2003. The side will then face South Africa ia four-day match, starting from June 3 before the the World Test Championship Final where Protea will take on Australia at the Lord’s.
