As the biggest Tennis event of the year - Wimbledon - kicks off on June 28, there have been a lot of speculations regarding the mixed doubles' partner for Aussie tennis player Nick Kyrgios since the 26-year-old posted a tweet on social media which suggested that he was looking for a partner for the mixed-doubles event in Grand Slam.

Kyrgios finds a partner for Wimbledon

With names like Amanda Anisimova and Ashleigh Barty emerging, it was always going to be very exciting for the fans to know who Kyrgios will end up pairing with. But much to everyone's surprise, it is now being reported that the Aussie has finally teamed up with 2-times Grand Slam mixed-doubles champion Venus Williams to form a dream pairing in Wimbledon.

The dream pairing which fans have been waiting for since 2017

Interestingly, American Tennis player Venus Williams had hinted on this pairing way back in 2017. During the WTA Tour Finals tournament in Singapore. When a reporter had asked her to reveal her dream mixed doubles' partner, she had replied, "I don’t know, I think it’d be fun to play with Nick Kyrgios.”

Even Nick Kyrgios had accepted the proposal of playing with Williams as he had thanked the legend for her comments. The fans thought that they would be seeing the exciting duo play together very soon but things did not really turned out the way everyone hoped.

However, things are finally falling in place after four years and that too at Wimbledon 2021. With the charisma of Kyrgios complimented by the experience of Venus, there is no doubt that this is the pair to watch out for in this year's Grand Slam in the UK.
